Dr Dalene Barnard is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. She cares for pregnant women and looks after female health
related problems in women and girls of all ages.


Dr Dalene Barnard is ‘n gynaecologist and obstetrician. She has a practice at Kloof Mediclinic. She absolutely loves her job and has a passion for health of females from children to the most mature of women. She studied at the University of Cape Town and specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The University of Pretoria.

Dr Dalene enjoys the privilege of looking after both mother and her baby during pregnancy. She also has a passion for obstetric ultrasound. She believes that a vast majority of women can delivery vaginally and that a caesarean section is a safe alternative, but remains the second option, should normal delivery not be possible.
Dr Dalene also enjoys looking after women in general. She also focuses on cancer prevention, assisting women struggling to fall pregnant and urogynaecology.

She has two children of her own and loves the outdoors, family time and cooking.





As a team we support each other and operate together like a well-oiled machine. We are an uplifting team and always ensure a calming environment.


Sr Lizelle has worked in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology for more than
10 years. She has vast experience in female health and ensures rapid response to any queries patients may have. She is loved by all and adds sympathy, expertise and excellence to the team. With empathy and trust she always takes the time to listen and give support to everyone.


Sarahlie is the front face of our practice. She leads the reception team and
manages all appointments, communication and administration. With her
kind hearted and friendly personality she always goes the extra mile to
accommodate patients wherever possible. She loves babysitting the new
born babies and has a special touch with our babies. She has been with the
practice for 6 years and is well known and loved by all.


Emmah is the administrative right hand. She is assisting to make our practice
paperless and keeping us up to date with technology’s demands. She has a
soft spot for all the babies delivered at our practice and love interaction with
patients. She always keeps the practice tidy and neat . She is well mannered
and friendly. Her 6 years with the practice proved to be very positive.


Linda does the accounting, billing and communication with medical aids.
She is tremendously knowledgeable about medical aids and assists patients
with authorisation queries, medical aid cover and queries. With her beautiful
and friendly smile, she does her work with perfection. During her 3 years at
the practice she managed to have a positive influence on everyone.

2. Dr Dalene’s surgery patients
